I am guessing that you are running Exchange 2007? If so, the correct syntax for this command is as follows: Get-MailboxDatabase -Identity "MBX1\NewYork Storage Group\NewYork Mailbox Database" -Status | Format-List Try that and see if it helps, the reason you get that error message is becuse Exchange can not find the database you specified since the syntax is wrong.Martin Sundstrm | Microsoft Certified Trainer | MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator 2007/2010 | http://msundis.wordpress.com

If you just run the Get-Mailboxdatabase command without specifying any database? Get-MailboxDatabase | Format-List Is the database you want to look at listed? If so, can you make sure that the identity you enter in the first command is correct?Martin Sundstrm | Microsoft Certified Trainer | MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator 2007/2010 | http://msundis.wordpress.com
